Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide outpatient physical therapy services in Frisco, TX. Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document care accurately, and collaborate with team members to support patient progress and safe discharge. Supervise and educate students and support staff as assigned. Maintain professional licensure and comply with state practice acts and facility policies. Follow safety practices including safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred, including evaluations, goal writing, and development of functional treatment programs.
- Ability to complete timely, clear, and accurate medical record documentation, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry.
- Demonstrated competence with safe patient handling and standard clinic procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in outpatient clinics with productivity and documentation expectations.
- Experience supervising students or mentoring junior clinicians.
- Experience with performance improvement initiatives and participation in clinical education.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday.
- Workweek structure: 5x8 schedule.
