Pediatric SLP in Joliet, IL

A dynamic opportunity is available for a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support Early Childhood students in a K-12 school setting in Joliet, IL. This contract position runs from August 11, 2025, through May 22, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 36.25 hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM. The role is onsite, providing direct services to approximately 30 to 40 early childhood students.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and delivering specialized speech and language therapy services that meet the diverse needs of young learners. Collaboration with educators and families to create individualized treatment plans and track student progress will be essential. The position focuses on building communication skills vital for academic success and social integration.

Key qualifications for this position include:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement
• Experience in healthcare, pediatric speech therapy, teletherapy, clinical fellowship year (CFY), and school-based settings
• Strong ability to engage young children and adapt therapy techniques accordingly
