A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving students in grades K-12 within a dynamic educational setting in Galion, Ohio. This contract role is designed for professionals licensed in Ohio with a passion for supporting diverse student needs across multiple age groups.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students with a variety of speech and language disabilities
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions to ensure effective communication development
- Maintaining accurate records and complying with state and federal regulations regarding special education services
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid Ohio licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with a mixed caseload of speech and language disorders in a K-12 setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload with organizational and time management skills
Location and schedule:
- Position is located in Galion, Ohio, with potential service across nearby cities including Mansfield, Bucyrus, and Fredericktown
- Start date: August 14, 2025
- End date: May 28, 2026
- Weekly hours: 37.5
