A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with both Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based credentials to support an elementary school setting in Bucyrus, OH. This contract position spans the next school year and offers a chance to engage with young learners from kindergarten through fourth grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to K-4 students within an elementary school environment
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and testing to evaluate student speech and language needs
- Collaborate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Deliver indirect services such as consultation and support to classroom teachers and staff
- Adapt intervention plans based on student progress and evolving needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Ohio license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques relevant to speech and language delays
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and collaborate effectively
