Description

• Assess a diverse patient population spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric care using both standardized testing and observational assessments.

• Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with physical and occupational therapists, registered nurses, physicians, and families to design cohesive care plans.
• Educate patients and families to foster progress beyond the therapy sessions.
• Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Document findings and progress accurately in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA certified.

Certifications

• Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to be acquired within 30 days of your start date.
