Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position offers multiple school-based speech-language pathology assignments within a K-12 educational setting in Carmel, IN, available on a contract basis for the 2023-2024 school year. The role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to students, tailoring interventions to individual needs, and collaborating with educators and families to support student success. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy, and consultation services to students across varied caseloads. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with educational standards. Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in accordance with school policies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals. Support and supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed. Ensure continuity of services during transition periods, including maternity leave coverage and short-term assignments. Assignment Details: Site 1: Caseload of 55 students (weighted 40.4), school hours 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Site 2: Caseload of 20 students, school hours 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Floater Role covering multiple sites:

Site 3 (July 23 - October 10): Caseload of 49 students (weighted 54.8), school hours 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Sites 4 & 5 (September 25 - February 27): Caseloads of 24 and 25 students respectively, school hours 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Approximately two weeks overlap between assignments to ensure smooth maternity leave transitions.

March caseload may include flexible duties such as short-term coverage, evaluations, SLPA supervision, or other departmental needs. Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and certification. Experience working with students across K-12 grade levels. Strong caseload management and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams and families. Flexible and adaptable to changing assignments and schedules.
