Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A K-12 school in Albemarle, NC, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification of clinical competence (CCC) to provide speech therapy services for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive educational environment focused on student communication development from kindergarten through 12th grade. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate records and document therapy outcomes in compliance with educational standards. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights. Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid licensure as an SLP within the state. Experience or certification specific to school-based speech-language pathology. Strong knowledge of K-12 educational settings and IEP processes.
