Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics, employing standardized tests and observational analysis.
• Craft individualized treatment plans designed to address both immediate needs and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver dedicated one-on-one speech therapy targeting communication skills, language proficiency, fluency enhancements, voice modulation, and swallowing rehabilitation.
• Engage collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to devise integrative care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to support their progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the healing process.
• Uphold meticulous and timely documentation adhering to state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Enhance your expertise by staying abreast of advancements in the field through continuous education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of joining.
