Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A temporary opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to support a K-12 school located approximately 20 minutes outside of Boston, MA. This leave replacement contract will run from August 25th through mid-November, covering a maternity leave. The position is ideal for those who have completed their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or have experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), as applications from these candidates will be considered. Key responsibilities include: Providing speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students across the K-12 spectrum Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to implement effective intervention plans Documenting student progress and preparing reports as required Adhering to school and state policies regarding speech pathology services Participating in team meetings and maintaining open communication with families as needed Preferred qualifications and experience: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA as an SLP Completed or working towards Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or experience as an SLPA Background working with school-aged children in educational settings Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt to caseload assignments once finalized This contract offers a valuable opportunity to contribute impactful speech therapy services within a supportive school community for a defined period.
