Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) School-Based Job
Location: Downers Grove, Illinois
Schedule: Full-Time | 35 Hours per Week
Caseload: Two Elementary School Sites
Term: Upcoming School Year

Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a school district in Downers Grove, IL to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. The SLP will split time between two elementary schools, providing direct therapy and support to students with a range of communication needs. Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply supervision will be provided.

• Hours: 35 hours per week, MondayFriday

• Grade Levels: Elementary

• Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and write reports

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services

  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team

• Caseload: Varies; will include students with speech/language impairments, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, and other health impairments

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• ASHA CCCs preferred, but CF candidates are welcome

• Prior school-based experience is a plus, but not required

• Weekly pay via direct deposit

• Supportive team with dedicated recruiter guidance

• CFY supervision available
