Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing standardized assessments and observational strategies.
• Create tailored treatment plans that cater to immediate goals as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions focusing on communication, language skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Engage collaboratively with a dedicated team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to formulate comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and their families to bolster progress outside of clinical settings.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care continuity throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain meticulous documentation conforming to state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay abreast of advancements in the field through continuous education and collaborative partnerships.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first month of employment.
