A Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available in Ridgeway, VA, for the upcoming school year. This K-12 position involves providing essential speech and language services to students ranging from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The role is contract-based, requiring 37.5 hours per week, with assignments at one to three schools, though typically one or two locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.
- Manage caseload effectively, including case management and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and testing to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to enhance therapy delivery.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing and updating student plans.
- Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and educational standards.

- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
