  • Facilitate educational workshops for patients and families to enhance progress between therapy sessions.
  • Assist with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions at times, ensuring seamless continuity in care.
  • Uphold meticulous and timely documentation as per state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through continuing education and collaborative learning.

Education

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
