Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract A professional opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work within a K-12 school environment in Bellevue, WA. This contract position spans the school calendar year (CSY), providing a chance to impact the development of children across various grade levels. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific therapeutic goals Provide targeted speech and language therapy sessions Accurately monitor and document student progress over time Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including educators and healthcare professionals Involve families in the therapy process by educating and engaging them Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current licensure or eligibility for licensure by the state Board of Speech Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and licensed SLPAs in school settings are also encouraged to apply Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly valued Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team This role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to student development while working with a supportive and experienced advisory team of SLPs located in your state.
