Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Louisville, KY

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a temporary medical leave position in an elementary school setting in Louisville, KY. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of approximately 50 students in grades 3 through 5. Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services tailored to individual student needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers and onsite support staff to enhance student learning and communication skills. Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation of student progress. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student education plans. Qualifications: Current SLP certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly grades 3-5. Ability to start ASAP and flexibility to cover a medical leave ranging from 6 weeks to a full semester. Strong communication and teamwork skills within an educational environment. Schedule and Location: Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., following the school bell schedule. Position is based onsite in Louisville, KY, with ample support from school staff.
