Speech-Language Therapist / Pathologist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, collaborative, and skilled Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students communication needs across grades PreK8. The SLP will provide direct services, consultation, and evaluation to students with speech and language challenges that impact academic achievement and social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and assessments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.
  
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and/or group settings.
  
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other school staff to support student success.
  
• Participate in IEP team meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and accommodations.
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services and student progress.
  
• Provide support and training to staff and families to enhance understanding and strategies for speech/language development.
  
• Stay current with best practices and legal mandates in the field of speech-language pathology and special education.
  

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  
• Experience working in school settings or with school-age children strongly preferred.
  
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
  
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
