EASTCONN is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team. We have one position available and are open to both full-time and part-time candidates, to support within EASTCONN's special education programs.

As a part of our Education Services team, you will play a crucial role in supporting students k-22 who qualify for special education. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment for our staff members through mentorship, and relevant ongoing professional learning. Candidates with experience working with students or clients with Autism, Emotional Disabilities, Multiple Disabilities, and other unique needs, are encouraged to apply. While not required, training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and Assistive Technology (AT) are a plus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing individual and group direct services
  • Conducting evaluations, analyzing information, writing IEP goals and objectives
  • Facilitating indirect services/consultations
  • Collaborating with staff, including co-treatment and co-teaching service models
  • Writing accurate service notes and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Current CT Department of Education certification
  • Department of Health licensure
