The following position is an anticipated opening in the Elgin Local Schools for the 2025-2026 school year:

Position: Speech/Language Pathologist

Minimum Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

- Proper License through Ohio Department of Education and Workforce

- Past experience, preferred

- BCI/FBI Clearance

Essential Functions:

- Conduct screenings and diagnostic evaluations

- Work with children with a wide range of disabilities, from mild or moderate to severe and/or multiple disorders

- Work on listening, speaking, reading, writing, and learning strategies general education and special education classrooms

- Serve on program planning and teacher assistance teams

- Write reports and participate in annual review conferences

- Develop Individualized Family Service Plans and Individualized Education Programs

- Complete documentation as required by federal, state and local agencies

Salary: To be determined commensurate with experience

Contract Days: 183
