Occupational Therapist Opportunity Support Cleveland Students Onsite

Cleveland Municipal School District is actively hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy services to students across multiple grade levels. This school-based role focuses on helping students build independence through motor skill development and functional support.

Position Overview:
As the OT, youll conduct evaluations, implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educators and families to enhance student participation in daily school routines.

Responsibilities:

• Complete occupational therapy evaluations and documentation

• Develop and deliver IEP-based therapy aligned with student needs

• Address fine motor, sensory integration, and adaptive skill development

• Consult with teachers and staff on accommodations and supports

• Participate in IEP meetings and goal development

• Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Ohio Occupational Therapy License

• ODE Pupil Services Credential (required for school-based roles)

• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred

• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday, during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignment varies)
