Cleveland Municipal School District is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join its team full-time. In this role, youll support K12 students in achieving greater independence and access to learning through targeted therapy and collaboration with educators.
About the Role:
This school-based OT position involves evaluating student needs, developing and delivering individualized interventions, and participating in IEP planning to help students thrive in the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform occupational therapy evaluations for motor and sensory skills
Provide therapy in both group and 1:1 settings per IEP goals
Support fine motor development, sensory regulation, and adaptive skills
Recommend strategies and tools to increase classroom participation
Collaborate with special education and general education staff
Maintain therapy documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
Current Ohio OT License
ODE Pupil Services Credential (required for school practice)
Prior experience in school or pediatric therapy preferred
Detail-oriented, communicative, and team-focused mindset
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: Monday through Friday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
