Elizabeth Public Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with speech and language needs across various school sites. This is a great opportunity to work directly with students, helping them build communication skills critical to their academic and social success.

Position Overview:
As a school-based SLP, youll evaluate student needs, implement therapy plans, and collaborate with school teams to deliver effective, individualized support in both general and special education environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and contribute to eligibility reports

• Provide direct therapy for articulation, fluency, language, and pragmatic goals

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Document all services and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines

• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and updates

• Support inclusive classroom strategies through consultation

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New Jersey SLP License

• NJ DOE Speech-Language Specialist Certificate

• ASHA CCC preferred

• Experience with IEPs and school-based therapy models is a plus

• Strong interpersonal, documentation, and organizational skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (site determined by district)
