Elizabeth Public Schools is actively hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their student support team. This role offers a chance to work closely with students, educators, and families to improve speech, language, and social communication outcomes across school settings.

Position Summary:
The SLP will assess student needs, implement treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students overcome communication barriers and participate fully in the learning environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations

  • Provide IEP-aligned therapy services in individual and group settings

  • Address expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, and social skills

  • Collaborate with teachers and school teams on intervention planning

  • Participate in IEP meetings and ensure proper documentation

  • Track and report student progress on goals

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active New Jersey SLP License

  • Speech-Language Specialist Certification from the NJ Department of Education

  • ASHA CCC preferred

  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is advantageous

  • Strong communication and case management skills

Position Details:

  • Type: Full-time, onsite

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday during school hours

  • Caseload: K12 students (assignment varies by district)
