A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a K-8 school located in Newburgh, IN, for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position offers 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, providing onsite services to a diverse student population.
In this role, you will manage a caseload of approximately 50 students with primarily mild to moderate disabilities including Developmental Delay (DD), Specific Learning Disability (SLD), and Other Health Impairments (OHI). The caseload includes students from kindergarten through eighth grade, with a small portion of services provided to a Life Skills classroom serving K-5 students. Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, intervention, and collaboration with educational teams to support student communication goals.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Indiana School Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Experience in pediatric healthcare, particularly within school settings
- Ability to handle caseload diversity involving mild to moderate disabilities as well as life skills classrooms
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
