Job Description
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with credentials in healthcare, pediatrics, or school settings. This position is ideal for candidates holding an SLP-CCC certification, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinicians, or experienced SLPAs interested in working within an elementary school environment.
Location: Sumter, SC
Duration: August 1, 2025 May 29, 2026
Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, Onsite Only
Setting: Elementary School, serving ages 3-12
Caseload: Approximately 56 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and individualized therapy to support the communication needs of elementary-aged students.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Document and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with school protocols.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development to enhance service delivery and student outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in educational or healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in managing caseloads within school environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for supporting student growth.
