Open Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Join Ann Arbor, MI Public Schools Full-Time

Ann Arbor Public Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver evaluations and therapy services that help students build essential communication skills for learning and social success. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, student-centered team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, design individualized therapy plans, and provide interventions targeting a range of speech and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and prepare clear reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic communication

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Michigan SLP License

• Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
