This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics and school settings to support young learners in an elementary school environment. The role involves delivering targeted speech-language services to children from preschool through 3rd grade, including those in preschool classrooms and Head Start programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 45 students, primarily ages pre-kindergarten through third grade.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress and communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with regulatory and district standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in healthcare, pediatric, clinical fellowship year (CFY), and school settings.
- Strong skills in pediatric speech-language assessment and intervention.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with fluency in evidence-based therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Position based in Ashland, OH at an elementary school.
- Contract duration from August 19, 2025, to June 2, 2026.
- School day hours: 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
