A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist working with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates in a K-12 school setting. This role is located in Washington, DC, providing an excellent opportunity to support students' communication development across a diverse age range.
Key Qualifications:
- Speech-Language Pathologist licensed or eligible to practice in Washington, DC
- Experience or eligibility to complete the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Familiarity with K-12 speech-language therapy practices
- Ability to implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement speech therapy goals aligned with educational standards
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote communication skills
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams as needed
