A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in a K-12 school setting located in Hoquiam, WA. This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience working with a diverse student population from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing speech and language support tailored to individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Implement evidence-based speech-language therapy services for students across various grade levels
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress and modify interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student in compliance with school policies
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights to support student goals

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure
• Completion of a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Enrollment or completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children and school personnel
• Knowledge of educational regulations and experience with K-12 populations preferred
