A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is needed to support students in a K-12 school setting located in Bloomingdale, GA. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to help students reach their communication goals, collaborating with educators and families, and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess students communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Georgia.
- Certification of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently within a school environment.
