This opportunity seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide services in a K-8 school setting located in Plainfield, IL. The role supports students with mild to moderate disabilities and involves delivering therapy to preschool through 8th-grade students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy for students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 1:45 PM
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required for SLP roles)
- Valid Illinois SLP or SLPA license
- For SLPs: Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois schools through ISBE
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably with mild to moderate disabilities
Schedule and Duration:
- Part-time position, 24 hours per week
- Contract for the 2025/2026 school year
- Monday-Friday, school day hours
