Position Responsibilities

  • Engage in one-on-one interventions directing attention to communication skills, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
  • Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to ensure cohesive care strategies.
  • Provide educational resources and support for patients and families to facilitate progress beyond clinical environments.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing seamless care throughout treatment processes.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through continuing education and collaboration with peers.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Licensure and Certifications

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
