A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in an elementary school setting in Naperville, IL. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of supporting K-12 students district-wide with speech and language services. The position is set for 35 hours per week, providing a consistent and meaningful impact within the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to K-12 students across the district.
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with state and district regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and develop appropriate intervention plans.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Illinois.
- Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
