It specializes in helping patients recover from serious illnesses or injuries that have impacted their ability to function independently. Highlights: Comprehensive Inpatient Rehab : Offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, orthopedic trauma, and other complex conditions. Intensive Therapy Model : Patients receive at least three hours of therapy per day, five days a week, under the supervision of a rehabilitation physician and 24-hour rehab nursing. Personalized Care Plans : Treatment is tailored to each patient's goals, with a focus on restoring independence and transitioning safely back home. How you'll contribute: The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility. Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT. Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines. Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and requirements: Education: Associate's degree from a PTA program. Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred. License: Current PTA license in state of practice. Certifications: CPR certification required.
