Job Responsibilities

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs and formulate tailored therapy plans that facilitate the achievement of functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients motor skills, cognitive function, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and caregivers on therapy methods that encourage continued progress at home.
• Track and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to keep patients on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Licenses & Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) required
