Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions emphasizing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate actively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, medical practitioners, caregivers, and family members to develop integrated care approaches.
• Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinic visits.
• Participate in sporadic inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity in patient care throughout their recovery journey.
• Document patient interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with local, federal, and institutional regulations.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Must have finalized a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Obtaining the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
