Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing standardized assessments and observational techniques.
• Design individualized treatment strategies that meet immediate goals as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver tailored one-on-one speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, and families to develop integrated care plans.
• Educate patients and families to encourage progress and engagement outside of clinical encounters.
• Provide occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless continuum of care throughout the treatment journey.
• Keep meticulous and timely documentation following state, federal, and institutional guidelines.
• Commit to ongoing education and collaborative practice in the field.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hiring.
