  • Provide educational resources for patients and their families to reinforce progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a seamless treatment experience.
  • Keep meticulous and timely records consistent with local, state, and organizational regulations.
  • Engage actively in continuing education and peer reviews to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

Education Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), unless already ASHA-certified.

Certifications

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hiring.
