Physical Therapy Tech

Under the direction of the department director and the clinical supervisors, assists with providing quality therapy services. Rehab technician to support physical, occupational and speech therapy clinical staff in acute care and outpatient care team needs. Role is trained entirely "on the job". High school graduate and ability to multi-task, be flexible, be organized, be positive and upbeat and dependable and enjoy working with people/ patients in helping them in their recovery. Works under direct supervision of a clinician when assisting with patients. Performs support needs for dept including but not limited to patient care assist, supply ordering and stocking, cleaning equipment and organizing clinic areas for patient care, clerical tasks such as logging orders, building and breaking down charts and other duties as assigned. Hours are 9a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, no holidays or weekends involved. EXPERIENCE: Must be at least 16 years of age and have completed 10th Grade. Prefer familiarity with Physical Therapy Department setting. SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to understand oral and written instructions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. LICENSE/CERT: Required: CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
