Description

• Assess patients from pediatric to geriatric populations using a blend of standardized tests and observational assessments.

• Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions focused on communication skills, language proficiency, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to develop integrated care plans.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and families to support progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Conduct occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments, ensuring a smooth continuum of care.
• Maintain diligent and timely documentation compliant with state, federal, and institutional regulations.
• Engage in ongoing education and peer collaboration to remain at the forefront of the field.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
