Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

This contract position is based in Brimley, MI, with an anticipated start date of September 2nd, though the director offers flexibility to accommodate candidate needs. The role involves a caseload of approximately 45 students and requires working across two schools to deliver effective speech and language support. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Both in-person and teletherapy services may be part of the role, offering a dynamic and varied work environment. Collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals is key to promoting students' communication skills and academic success. Desired qualifications and skills: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience in healthcare and pediatric speech-language pathology Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Background working within school systems, especially K-12 settings Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of 45 students Excellent communication and teamwork abilities This contract position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week during the contract school year (CSY).
