Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a contract covering the complete school year (CSY) in a K-12 educational setting. This opportunity focuses on providing critical speech and language support services to students in elementary and/or secondary levels. The position is on-site and located in the Centralia/Yelm, WA area. Responsibilities include conducting speech and language assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve communication skills. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Maintaining thorough documentation and monitoring student outcomes are essential components of this role. Desired qualifications: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with elementary and/or secondary school-aged children Strong understanding of school-based speech therapy practices and IDEA regulations Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans Excellent communication and teamwork skills Commitment to providing inclusive and supportive services in the educational environment This position offers the chance to impact students' communication development positively while working in a supportive school setting.
