Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time La Jara, NM

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in La Jara, New Mexico. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to help K12 students improve their communication skills and reach their academic potential through individualized therapy services in a collaborative school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, voice, and fluency needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

• Deliver direct therapy and provide consultative services to support student progress

• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create effective communication strategies

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and service planning

• Monitor and document student progress in accordance with district and state requirements

• Promote inclusive practices and contribute to a positive school environment

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

• Active New Mexico SLP license or eligibility for licensure

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply

• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
