Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for an 8/25 to 10/3 maternity leave contract supporting elementary students in grades K-4. This role focuses on providing prevention, assessment, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, ensuring students can participate fully in the general education curriculum and meet their IEP goals. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech-language screenings and comprehensive evaluations following IDEA and PA Chapter 14 regulations. Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable goals tailored to student needs. Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group formats, both in-classroom and pull-out settings. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and related service providers to address student communication needs in academic and functional environments. Participate in IEP, multidisciplinary team, and eligibility determination meetings. Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress notes, and Medicaid billing if applicable. Provide consultation and training to school staff on communication strategies and supports. Assist with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluations and device support as needed. Adhere to ethical and professional standards outlined by ASHA and the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Engage in child find initiatives and RTI/MTSS processes as relevant. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification in Speech and Language Impaired PK-12. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Candidates with Clinical Fellowship status (CF) may be considered with supervision. Strong understanding of IDEA, IEP development, and data collection. Excellent collaboration and organizational skills. Required clearances: Pennsylvania Criminal History, Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprinting. This position is located in Doylestown, PA, serving an elementary school community.
