Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the full school year starting August 26th in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This contract role serves a K-12 school setting with a caseload of approximately 60 students (final numbers to be confirmed). We have five openings, ideal for professionals dedicated to making a meaningful impact on children's communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Conduct assessments, track progress, and adjust therapy plans accordingly. Utilize both in-person and teletherapy methods to meet student needs. Support the development of effective communication skills to enhance academic and social success. Qualifications: Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required. Experience with pediatric populations and healthcare-based speech therapy. Comfort with teletherapy delivery methods. Recent graduates (Clinical Fellowship Year candidates) are welcome; supervision is provided. Previous experience in school settings preferred but not required. Strong commitment to student welfare and the ability to prioritize their needs in all interactions.
