Travel Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a day shift outpatient and inpatient rehab position treating primarily adults, with some pediatric cases.

• Work in an outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation therapy setting
• Majority of caseload consists of adult patients, with occasional pediatric outpatients
• Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• No call or weekend requirements
• Potential to float in rotation with staff according to clinical experience and facility policies
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Responsibilities include providing inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy assessments and interventions
• No holiday or weekend work required, but coverage needed before and after holidays; for Christmas Eve, a half day is worked
• Kronos is used for timekeeping with badge swipes
• Must be comfortable working as part of a collaborative rehab team
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates are not accepted
• Travelers who were previously permanent staff must have been gone for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed, with no RTO in the first two weeks and all requests submitted up front

• Current OTR/L required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• MN Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Experience with adult and some pediatric caseloads
• Must complete in-person fingerprinting in Minnesota the Monday prior to start
• Must complete lab work within 48 hours of accepting the position
• Medical or religious exemption documentation required for vaccinations if applicable
