Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methodologies.
• Craft individualized treatment strategies that cater to both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver targeted one-on-one speech therapy focused on areas such as communication clarity, language fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.
• Engage collaboratively with our team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to establish holistic care plans.
• Provide education to patients and their families to empower progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Conduct occasional evaluations and interventions for inpatient speech therapy, ensuring a seamless continuum of care during treatment.
• Keep thorough and timely documentation compliant with state and federal laws and organizational standards.
• Remain abreast of developments in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Required state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of employment.
