  • Deliver individualized speech therapy focusing on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.

  • Educate patients and their families to maintain progress beyond clinical visits.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring consistent care throughout the rehabilitation journey.

Education Requirements

  • A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is a prerequisite if not yet ASHA certified.

Certifications

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
