Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Plainfield, IL

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to provide specialized services addressing mild to moderate speech and language needs. This role supports a high school setting with a manageable caseload, allowing focused and effective intervention.
Location: Plainfield, IL
Assignment: Contract, Non-School Year (NSY)
Schedule: 3 days per week
Caseload: Approximately 25 high school students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy for students with mild to moderate communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations and therapy sessions
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Illinois license as an SLP or SLPA
- For Speech-Language Pathologists: Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools, issued through ISBE
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
