Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A K-12 school in Citrus Heights, CA is seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathology professionals for a contract position during the school year. This role provides an opportunity to deliver impactful therapy services to pediatric and school-aged students in an educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and goals Facilitate targeted therapy sessions designed to improve speech and language skills Monitor, track, and document student progress with accuracy and thoroughness Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including educators and specialists to ensure holistic care Involve families in the therapeutic process through education and engagement Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California required This position offers the chance to work with a supportive advisory team of SLPs in your state, helping you grow professionally.
