This role is for a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving K-12 students in a school setting. The position is a contract lasting the entire school year and requires onsite work in Georgetown, TX. You will manage a flexible caseload of approximately 56 students, providing speech and language therapy services tailored to their individual needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy to K-12 students with diverse communication needs.
- Managing a caseload with flexible scheduling to accommodate student needs and school calendar.
- Collaborating with licensed speech-language pathologists, educators, and families to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting of student progress in accordance with school policies.
- Participating in professional development activities and clinical mentorship opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license is required.
- Experience working in either school or healthcare settings as an SLPA.
- Ability to work onsite full time, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Bilingual skills are preferred to effectively serve diverse student populations.
